This is the official take-off for the 2009 Spring Assassin Game. With this game, you can win a 50 USD CVS card. Only one person can win.

Here are the rules:
1) Your goal is to kill to RC (that's me, yes). Of course, you should not REALLY kill me. "Killing" is defined as follows: you need to approach me without me noticing you and touch me with your finger on my back. You have to touch me BEFORE I notice you; otherwise it does not count. You have to surprise me.
2) You cannot kill me in our building at 110 Washington Street; neither on the 4th floor in Babbio (where I work).

Take off is NOW.

I'll be watching my back!

BREAKING NEWS

Stevens Campus Police is investigating a shooting in Babbio Center which occured on Saturday, October 18th, 2008 at approximately 2 pm. The victim is Heidi Bertels, PhD student and Resident Coordinator for graduate housing at 110 Washington Street. The two witnesses, D.C. from French origin and R.S. from Indian origin said that they heard RC Bertels knock on their office door in Babbio to join them for a lunch appointment, however, upon opening the door, they found her laying down, shot in the back. R.S. said RC Bertels' last words were: "Comment est-ce possible, mon ami?". R.S. was upset and taken to a counselor. D.C. was murmuring about free dinner and 50 USD.

If you would have any tips, please contact campus police.

Re: Furniture policy

I hope everyone is off to a great start with their classes this semester and is enjoying living in our housing. Last week we completing our first round of apartment inspections we noticed there is a great deal of personal furniture in each apartment and I wanted to confirm that everyone is aware IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REMOVE ALL THE NON-UNIVERSITY OWNED FURNITURE WHEN YOU LEAVE THE APARTMENT.

Our first building meeting was so much fun :-)

We got two winners: Adriana won the "truth, truth, lie" game and Wenlin astonished all of us with his master golf skills. You should consider playing professional golf, Wenlin.

Congratulations to both :-)

We had relatively low attendance this time because of upcoming finals and some people still stuck in bed... but nevertheless this was probably my most favorite building meeting. I had great conversations with great people and we also have some nice pics... I'm working on a compilation which will be our first official 110 Wash "wall of fame" picture :-D

Thank you Youssef for bringing over your camera :-)

I have tried out Stevens' counseling services for you. Being an international student, like most of you, I am not familiar with "counseling". As a matter of fact, in Belgium you would be considered "probably nuts". Nevertheless, I enjoyed the chat. Going to counseling doesn't mean you are crazy, it means you have the strength to recognize your problems if you have any. Here are some websites with lots of interesting stuff...

Link to Stevens' counseling website
Link to "counseling village", information about all kinds of problems, their causes, treatments...

Hoboken Post, Thursday March 6th 2008

On Wednesdag, March 5th, RC Bertels was shot in front of the BABBIO building located on Sixth and River Street. Approximate time of the murder was 8.30 pm. A witness saw a female and male from Asian origin leave the building right after he heard the shot. He also thought that the Asian-looking male works for the Office of Residence Life. This is the only trace the police has.

RC Bertels had filed a report with the Stevens' police stating that she was being chased by multiple people starting March 1st. Several attempted murders had taken place within a couple of days.

Police is puzzled in this investigation. The murder's act was swift and competent. All tips welcome at the Stevens' police.

When something needs to be fixed in your apartment, you will typically submit a work order. For example, when you have a leakage or a broken window, a work order is the way to go. Work orders should only be submitted for issues related to the housing facilities, NOT your personal TV, furniture... Continue reading to find out how to submit a work order.
